Thank you, Coach Pearson, for your impact on my life. I loved playing for you, but more importantly, I am blessed for the support and encouragement you provided me off the field. You viewed each of us as more than just football players, which motivated me to work just as hard in the classroom. You gave me a briefcase for my college graduation. I don´t think you know how much that moved me. It showed how much you genuinely cared about us as young men and our lives beyond football. Teachers and Coaches have the most impact on young men/women and can change the trajectory of their lives. You were both a teacher and a coach.
